Well I’m bored on a Monday night with nothing to  do.  Don’t really know what to talk about.  Moving out of this hell hole soon and moving into my new place on August 1st.  School has been kicking my ass, couple more months until motorcycle lessons.  Oh I almost cried when the greatest artist of my generation died, Michael Jackson.  Such a shame.  Really ticks me off though when all these fake people are being sympathetic when only a few years back they were calling him a child molestor and what not.  Nobody knows anything about him and when he dies they become his biggest fan, all those people need to go back to listening to their Soulja Boy non sense,  YOUUUUU (pff morons).  Going to Harry Potter midnight show tomorrow night, that should be tons of fun .  Blah blah the story of my life .  Goodnight peeps.

Turns out I am partially color blind to green and red and it also turns out that I have astigmatism.  On the plus side my numbers did not go up so I guess that’s good.  I really do not know how to react to this, the guy said I am partially color blind and all I said was “oh”.  Ordered new frames while I was at it, got one pair that is kind of like my current pair but more squarish and got another pair that looks almost exactly the same just in case I do not like the square ones.  I wanted a new look but after trying on all the different glasses, I sort of changed my mind and went with something to what I have already.

So I finally got around to watching Casino Royale today and I thought it was absolutely horrible.  I though it would be good because all the reviews I heard said that Daniel Craig was a good replacement for Pierce Brosnan but honestly I find that extremely hard to believe.  Brosnan was a much better Bond than Craig and what is even worse is that I still have to watch Quantum of Solace and apparently that one is one of the worst Bond movies of all time.  What has become of one of my childhood heroes?

On a side note today really sucks.  Feeling down and on top of it all finals are coming up

I’m really excitied today because I just got confirmation for my motorcycle lessons.  I was afraid that I  might not get a seat because I mailed my deposit in late but they got it in time.  Also found out that I do not have to do my ECE presentation tommorrow and do not even have to go to lab so I get to sleep in tomorrow!  w00t!

So I just signed up for Twitter.  I was surprised when I found out that I did not have a Twitter account because I have accounts almost everywhere else.  Well I signed up and don’t see what is the big deal about it.  It is cool but I ca not see myself sitting there reading tweets all day.  On top of all of this none of my friends use it so I do not see the point in it, at least not for me.  However, I did think of something that I could use it for.  With Twitter you can send tweets through your phone via SMS and that is pretty nifty.  So that got me thinking, what if I send it SMS’s about what I’m doing and what not and then use Twitter’s RSS feed and implement it on my blog.  That way I can put some status updates on my blog which I could update through my phone, pretty cool eh?  You are probably thinking “sheesh just when I thought he couldn’t get anymore geekier, he goes ahead and proves me wrong.”

So I finally registered for the motorcycle lessons provided by UIUC.  My skinny ass is going to have to start working out and gain some weight and some strength so I can get the bike off the stand at least.  Unfortunately the only seat that was avaiable is in mid October so no riding this summer for me.  Regardless I am taking 10 hours in summer school so all my time will be in a book and on top of that, I’ll have more time to convince my parents and possibly save up some money for a Kawasaki Ninja 250r, but knowing me, I’ll probably end up spending that saved money on a 20 valve 4A-GE blacktop with a 6speed for my Corolla instead.

Comcrap seems to have been taking laxatives because it has been clogging up my toilet lately.  My internet at home has been on and off ever since I got back for spring break and probably has been doing this for god knows how long.  Being home and being the geek that I am, I need the internet and the sporadic outages are extremely frustrating.  So finally I got fed up and called them today and the man I spoke with said that it looks like this has been happening for months now and says that the junction box (Comcrap’s problem) seems to have issues.  Excellent work Comcrap for noticing your faults .  Oh and by the way, those new commercials are really annoying, everyone still hates you and they always will.  You are just damn lucky that AT&T is too slow for me and that there is no Verizon FiOS around here.

phpBB has come a long way since I first started using it.  I still recall a few years back when I first started with phpBB version 2.0.3.  I thought it was really good, especially for free, but there were always security flaws with it.  Today the latest version is 3.0.4 and I recently converted one of the forums that I run from 2.0.23 to 3.0.4.  I waited a bit because I wanted all the bugs and kinks to be worked out before converting but wow have things changed in version 3.  I have been playing around with it and I have to say that I am in love.  Back in the the day I used to be a big fan of IPB but lately it just has not been as good, especially for the cost.  vBulletin is really good and professional but again costly.  I believe phpBB3 is the best that it has ever been and currently the best forum software on the market in terms of functionality and affordability (heck it is free!).  I will be waiting to see what it has to offer next and I can not wait.

So I really need a new computer because my P4 is starting to be very outdated.  It is still a pretty powerful machine and at the time I got it, it was the king of the hill, but sooner or later I will have to send it to the retirement home.  To replace it this is what I want.  This list may change but I highly doubt it.  I may not get the Case because I have a brand new Cooler Master Mystique just sitting around collecting dust so that will be used to save some money.

I have removed an article on this blog because of people who never seem to get off my case about anything.  I did not remove it because I have any respect or any morale, in fact I have no respect for the person in said article.  I am removing it because I want everyone to just shut the fuck up and move on with their lives, I already have and I do not see why everyone else can not.  I am sick of everyone never seeing my side and always pointing the finger at me.  If you are one of these people, I challenge you to find a single moment in history where I have been disrespectful to said person.  This whole situation has made me realize that people are not always who they seem to be and because of this I will only trust and care for the certain people that make a difference, and those people already know who they are.
